Types of roof conversion
DORMER extensions protrude out from the roof. The dormer conversion can more than doubled the roof space and gives full headroom throughout the new space. The walls are usually finished with tiles of the same colour and appearance if possible to best match the existing roof.
VELUX style extension option is generally adequate for thosecontemplating the smaller loft conversion, generally for a single bedroom; study etc, where adequate height is available within the existing loft space. Rooflights can then be installed with a minimum of disruption.
MANSARD extensions, often required in London, can be built at the rearor the front of a traditionally styled property. Popular for terraced housesand flat roofed properties, a mansard will create maximum head height and space. The general construction method for mansard style loft conversions involves brick sides built off the party wall and has a 72 degree slope to the front wall.
All our work is covered by guarantee as standard and all relevant insurances documents are in place and available to be viewed

Dream House
The client wanted to utilise the loft space to create their dream sanctuary space – away from their children and pets. A place just for the grown ups to relax and unwind.
Project Scope
We got appointed at the same time out client chose their architect. We worked as a team to achieve exactly what our client was after. We opened up the space, added large Velux windows and a Juliet balcony. We build a walking-in dressing room, as well as an ultra-modern wet room with his and hers sinks. All work was in-line with building regs and as per the architect drawings and we helped the team overcome some more complex structural challenges. The finishing touches – Our carpenter build a bespoke clothing system for the couple
Testimonial
A fantastic team and an amazing result. We just love our new space. It feels like going to a hotel every evening we climb up the stairs and close the door the rest of the house. We know, that we can be quite picky and anal, but Marek & Piotr were incredibly patient and helpful. They worked well with our architect and offered great suggestions and input throughout. We have already shared their details with family members.
